Terry Gerling – Owner Broker
Terry Gerling is the Owner Broker of Ultimate Realty. Terry started out in real estate in 2007. He worked for many years as an agent before getting his Brokers license in 2012. Once Terry earned his Brokers license, he immediately founded Ultimate Realty in May of 2012. Terry very rapidly grew Ultimate Realty into a one-stop shop Property Management and Real Estate Company servicing the greater St. Louis area. Ultimate Realty offers the full package for their clients which is something Terry takes great pride in.
Ultimate Realty is a family-run business and we treat our investor/landlords as family. Terry brought in his daughter, Lisa in May 2012 to help run the business side of the company as Assistant Operations Manager. Shortly after, he brought in his son, Mike, to run the maintenance and renovation divisions as Maintenance Supervisor. Terry’s wife Susan has been helping with the processes since day one as our Operations Manager. Terry takes great pride in the fact that this company is run entirely by family which shows in the compassion Terry has for each of his clients.
In his free time, Terry enjoys spending time with his 4 granddaughters, riding his motorcycle and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with family.
Susan Gerling – Operations Manager
I helped start Ultimate Realty with my husband, Terry. Being such a close family, it wasn’t far out of reach to make this a family owned business too. I am the Operations Manager for Ultimate Realty – I oversee all aspects of the business operations to provide 1st class service to our tenants and owners. I have a varied background which includes 30 years of experience in Accounting, Data Analysis, Sales, and Marketing. When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and I especially love spoiling my grandchildren. Some of our best times are when we travel for family vacations, like Florida, and when we take trips down to the lake.
Jim Richmond – Broker/ Salesperson
I was born and raised in the St. Louis area. I graduated in 1985 from Ritenour High school. I first worked for the old Overland Dairy grocery stores where I eventually was promoted to cashier and fell in love with running the register and playing with money. After high school graduation, I started a full-time job with Midwest Library service while also keeping my job at the grocery store. Since working with money was what I enjoyed most I applied at St. Johns Bank where they hired me as a teller in 1986. I worked the next 27 years learning everything I needed to know about banking. I was a teller, trainer, personal banker, asst. manager, and eventually a Branch Manager. I wore many hats as a manager including opening accounts consumer loans, customer service and managing other employees. My career in banking ended in January 2013 where I then met Terry. We had several conversations and he persuaded me to pursue a career in real estate. I’m glad to be in the real estate industry and plan to help grow this company as best as I can. I acquired my Brokers license in February of 2017.
Lisa Miller – Assistant Operations Manager and Marketing Director
I was born and raised in St. Charles County and am the daughter of Terry Gerling. Growing up in my family we always worked well together so it was only natural that I work with him in this adventure. I am currently pursuing my Elementary Education Degree at Lindenwood University. I enjoy watching baseball, swimming and going to the lake on the weekends. I have a wonderful husband who I married in March of 2013. We recently had a little baby girl in February and I also have a beautiful Step-Daughter. I can’t wait to see where my future continues to take me. I run the office at Ultimate Realty and I enjoy every moment of it. I am the Marketing Manager–it’s my job to spread the news about this amazing company!
Christen Richmond – Office Manager
St. Louis is where I’ve called my home my whole life. I am the mother of a sweet baby boy who means the world to me. I started with Ultimate Realty the beginning of 2015 and I couldn’t be more excited. Before Ultimate Realty, I worked retail for four years. I knew I loved working with customers so finding something along those lines was a must. My dad, Jim, has been working for Terry for years and I’m so happy I decided to follow alongside him. I assist the Property Managers and Agents in anything they may need. I’m their go-to girl! I look forward to helping this company in expanding and growing. They are continuing to bring on more employees and Ultimate Realty couldn’t have done it without the wonderful customers. Everyone is a family here and from the moment I stepped foot in the office, I knew I was where I belonged.
Becca Gasperoni – Property Manager and Sales Agent
I am the newest member of the Ultimate Realty team. I enjoy four wheelers, hunting, and working on my family farm. I own a mud truck for fun that I bring to truck shows. I am the mother to four fur babies, or as other people like to call them, dogs. Almost right out of high school I opened my own Appraisal business that lasted 11 years. After, I ventured off into Medical Billing and Coding for 2 years. I made the decision to get back to my roots and become a Property Manager and Sales Agent here at Ultimate Realty. They took me in with open arms, big smiles, and a chance to show them what I’ve got. I can’t wait to work with you and make all your housing dreams come true. Choosing to work for Ultimate Realty is the best endeavor yet.
Mike Gerling – Maintenance Supervisor
I’ve been with this company since it started. My family has always been close so when I had the opportunity to work for my dad, Terry, I took it immediately. Fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and spending time with my wife and kids are all things I enjoy. Prior to joining Ultimate Realty, I was a Service Manager for 2 years and then a Maintenance Supervisor for 3 years at an apartment complex. It was a smooth transition when I switched because I already had experience with any kind of repair you could throw at me. I am HVAC certified, so there’s not much outside help this company would need with repairs for you. I make it a priority that your problems get addressed as fast as possible, and that we have someone out there to get the job done.
Jerome Smith – Assistant Maintenance Manager
My hometown has and will always be St. Louis. Occasionally, I enjoy traveling and site-seeing but mostly any free time I have, I like to spend it with my wife and kids. In 2012, I started my journey with Ultimate Realty as an Assistant Maintenance Manager. I do all of your repairs–anything and everything. I’m HVAC certified, which means I can work with heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigerator systems. Before Ultimate Realty, I worked for an apartment complex for 3 years in their maintenance department as a Service Manager. This is the career I chose and I couldn’t be happier in assisting with your maintenance needs.
Maggie Colegrove – Administrative Assistant
I joined the Ultimate Realty team in October 2016 with the recommendation from Christen who I grew up with during my childhood and works here as the Office Manager. I have always loved working in a customer service setting, so I knew this position would be right for me. I currently hold an Associate Degree in Applied Science, and I am currently enrolled at Lindenwood University to complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend Adam. I also enjoy spending time with my family. My brother lives about five doors down, so I am constantly over there hanging out with my nieces and nephew. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors, shopping, and watching Netflix/YouTube. I also enjoy taking adventures to new places around the Saint Louis Area. I am excited to be on this journey with Ultimate Realty and experience everything as we continue to grow.
My name is Dan Cole. I have over ten years of maintenance experience. I joined Ultimate Realty in the summer of 2017 and feel very fortunate to have found a company like this with the great staff and caring owners. I am looking forward to many years here.
My name is Jake LaRose, I am a property manager/real estate agent here at Ultimate Realty. I have always wanted to transition myself into real estate and coming from a management background, property management was a perfect marriage of what I enjoy and the experience that I had. When I am not working I enjoy cooking and relaxing with family and friends.
My name is Mark Redenbeaux. I have been painting for over 40 years. Prior to that I was in the United States Coast Guard for four years. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, go hiking and camping, build models and travel with my wife.
My name is CJ Shockley. I have a beautiful wife and daughter and we live in North st. Louis county. I currently renovate homes for Ultimate Realty and love it! I have been involved in home construction and maintenance in some form or another for over 8 years. My favorite thing to do in my spare time is spend time with my family at Lake of the Ozarks and bass fish.
My name is Conner Shockley. I’m a part of the renovations team here at Ultimate. This is my first job in construction, but I’ve been really enjoying it so far. I usually am spending time with friends or family or I’m at the gym in my spare time.
My name is Carl. I reside in ST. Peters with my fiance Teresa. I am a senior maintenance technician and licensed Realtor with Ultimate Realty. My past work experience includes: laborer for Overland Contracting, Cable TV construction, management & Quality control for A to Z, A&M & US Cable, construction for Mason Homes (started as a laborer, soon after promoted to superintendent) and Realtor. I love spending time with my family, which includes grandchildren (5, soon to be 6) and my dog, a flat coated retriever named Midnight. I also like to fish and barbecue.
